In response to the thought of using Reiki with water, I went to the pond to see what would transpire. Sadly, I had contracted the flu the prior day and felt simply awful. I had a fever and pains throughout my body. Even though I wished to try some healing work I was in no shape to proceed.
The thought then came to me that perhaps the pond could do the healing! I opened myself to the idea and then to the pond itself. I sat in silent communion with it for a moment, then my attention drifted away to something else. I redirected my attention to the pond and ask for it to do what it could to help my condition; then again I just drank up what was offered. I returned to the house and went to bed. I didn’t sleep well during the early evening, just tossed and turned. Then at about 2 am I felt a release and was able to go soundly to sleep.

Sunday morning I awoke feeling better. I improved all morning and felt pretty good by noon. By evening I felt better than I had in several months! My logical mind says that the medication (antibiotics and herbs) I was using was the cause of my rapid improvement, but my wife who had the same disease a week before and had used the same medical protocol as I, suffered for five days before turning the corner.

I truly feel that the energy of the pond made a huge difference in the course of my disease. If any of you have had a similar experience please let us know.
